Katherine is the founder, owner, and principal consultant at WorkSprout LLC and has spent 20 years working in the people arena, influencing the way employees and employers connect and work together toward a common purpose. 

 

Recognized as a thought leader in employee experience and well-being programs, her career has included a variety of director-level roles in financial services, including Employee Benefits, Employee Well-Being, and Employee Experience. She most recently served as Senior Vice President, Employee Well-being & Benefits Director at SunTrust now Truist. Beyond titles, her breadth of roles across Human Resources and the business provided hands-on experience allowing her to successfully drive growth, engagement, and retention through the investment in people.  

 

Katherine is an ICF-certified executive coach focusing on expanding leadership capabilities, driving greater self-awareness, and developing strategies for career growth. She is a faculty member at Georgia Tech, lecturing on career development and growth, and finds great joy in developing the next generation of leaders. She has ICF ACC and SHRM-SCP certifications, a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Georgia Tech. She is also a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through The College of Executive Coaching. 

 

Always a believer in a balanced life, Katherine spends time outside of work at her kids’ activities, riding her bike, cooking up dinner for the family, rescuing food for local community centers, or lost in a book on her back deck.
